My husband, Keith, and I worked with Michelle Mitchell out of your Lakewood Ranch location covering Sarasota area as well. We met Michelle in early January when we were beginning our search and had a strategy of going to open houses to see which realty company we were most impressed with. We had flown in from Chicago, so it was critically important to us that we find a realtor who is incredibly knowledgeable, consultative, and whom we would feel particularly comfortable working with remotely given the distance between our primary residence and the Sarasota purchase. When I met Michelle, her energetic vibrance immediately appealed to me. But it was the depth of her ability to speak to the house that was representing/covering that enticed my husband and I to make a connection for a follow up conversation. From that point on? We dropped all other follow up calls. We had with other realtors and focused on Michelle. She was the most diligent in her responsiveness and demonstrated strong knowledge and demonstrated and eagerness to work with us without making us feel any level of pressure. Her consultative approach immediately want us over. Then, when we began looking at homes with Michelle from Chicago, we were so impressed by her 24/7 attentiveness to questions we had about the houses, the market, the market trends, and some of our many preferences. She would go from house to house, sending us videos and talking through the whirlwind of questions we had. Then, when we arranged to fly out and look at places. She made us feel so incredibly welcome. She had snacks and water and gave us a very generous gift card to enjoy Dinner on our own that night in Sarasota. Every detail of what she did made us 100% reassured that we were working with the right person. Then, when we decided we were ready to make an offer in the beginning of March, Michelle helped us through every single step of the way and we feel like we landed in a phenomenal spot. She had great insights and really represented all of our best interest in a very professional and warm and supportive manner. But her support didn’t stop there – as we were purchasing our home from a builder, she served as the project manager to make sure that every detail was done in the manner that we had discussed while we were in Chicago (and I am very detailed in my preferences!). She would send pictures and notes and stop by to confirm little details as well as big ones were progressing to make sure we had exactly what we wanted. Michelle ensured that we had a list of recommended vendors for gardening and pool and all of the mandatory utilities, etc. She made a scary transition to a new unfamiliar neighborhood go very smoothly. She worked tirelessly to ensure that when we arrived after closing to see the house done for the first time, that our experience continue to be special, including a beautiful gift and champagne, waiting for us in our home. But, to be honest, what impressed me most is just how warm and high integrity and fantastic she has been as a person and not just a realtor. I had never met Michelle prior to that open house in January and she is somebody whom I have so sincerely enjoyed spending time with. I trust her 100% and am so appreciative of literally everything she has done (this letter would be too long if I listed all of the little details that she thought of throughout this process to help make us comfortable and remove as much stress as possible).
